I haven’t booked my trip yet but was planning to book my flight this week to Bangkok in December but my friend who I was travelling with (only for 3 weeks) has just cancelled on me but I would still really like to go. However, Im in a situation now whether I should just book my flight and carry on travelling solo and do everything freelance or whether I should book with a tour group like STA or Gap Adventures?
I like the idea of travelling solo, but at the same time a bit nervous in case I don’t make friends, but at the same time I think some of these tour packages are a bit overpriced for my liking and is cheaper travelling alone and booking everything whilst out there (i.e. overnight trains, trips, tours etc).
Someone please give me some advice! :’( xx
